TRANSFORMING A HISTORIC LANDMARK INTO LUXURY HOMES
Dating back to 1883, The Old School in North Creake has long been a cherished part of the village’s history. For decades, it served as a hub of education for local children before closing its doors in 1962. Since then, it housed various ventures, including an art gallery, but sadly fell into disrepair in recent years.
Thanks to the vision and dedication of the current owners, this remarkable Victorian building has been lovingly restored and reimagined as three stunning, bespoke homes. Each residence beautifully preserves the unique character and historical charm of the original structure, while seamlessly blending in modern luxury to create spaces as functional as they are extraordinary.
HERITAGE AT THE HEART OF THE RESTORATION
This ambitious project has been a true celebration of heritage. By employing traditional construction techniques and collaborating with Norfolk’s most skilled craftsmen, our client ensured that every detail paid homage to the building’s storied past. From hand-carved timberwork to careful stone masonry, the spirit of the Victorian era lives on in every corner of these homes.
?A SUSTAINABLE VISION FOR THE FUTURE
Sustainability was central to the transformation of The Old School. Reclaimed materials were thoughtfully repurposed to retain its authentic character while minimising environmental impact. Eco-friendly heating systems were installed to enhance energy efficiency, and every effort was made to achieve carbon neutrality. Our client’s commitment to working with trusted suppliers who share their sustainable ethos underscores their dedication to responsible building practices.
