Since 1999, Benlowe Group Limited has been trading as a subsidiary of Benlowe Group Holdings, together comprising the Benlowe Group. We began with the manufacture of timber windows in 1966, formally under the trading name of Bennett Windows. Having consolidated its position in the marketplace, during the early '90s, we became one of the 1st joinery manufacturers to venture into prefinished windows and doors and quickly expanded into other areas. By late 2002, we set up the door division to complement the window arm of the business, and encompass our already extensive product range of external doorsets, singles and doubles, as well as the ability to produce bespoke designs.
As we continued to invest in more efficient, modern equipment our capacity grew, enabling Benlowe Group to become a preferred supplier to many site developers, including social housing and housing association developments.
In 2015, the Directors made a commercial decision to focus solely on the external timber window and door market and as a result, moved away from manufacturing stairs, which was a small trading division within the Group. This move has led to both improved manufacturing capabilities, profitability and becoming a market leader in the timber window and door sector.
In March 2018, to complement the window and door divisions, we have set up an in-house cavity closer division with the ability to manufacture an array of assembled cavity closers to satisfy the most stringent build designs.
