The window has been independently tested to BS 6375 Part 1, in accordance with the test methods of :
BS.EN.1026: Air Permeability

BS.EN.12211: Wind Resistance

The window is fully weathersealed satisfying the requirements of BS 6375 Part1 “Air, Wind and Water permeation”.

The window can be factory glazed up to 26mm dual seal Kitemarked double glazed units or with single glazing to satisfy conservation requirements.

Ovolo shaped beads are fitted as standard.
Glazing Bars
Bonded bars are used to achieve the slim sections of traditional glazing bars. These are applied with double sided tape on both sides of the sealed unit and are available in many configurations.

A flush softwood cill will be supplied as standard. A projection cill can be specified giving a 25mm extension from the face of the frame. Hardwood cill options are an optional extra.

Shaped featured horns may be specified on all Heritage windows.

All fittings are brass as standard. A lockable fitch fastener to the meeting rail and two finger pulls to the lower sash. Windows wider than 1085mm will have a second fitch fastened fitted.

A controllable ventilator can be fitted into the head. One vent is fitted to windows over 630mm wide and two vents to windows wider than 1085mm.

Brass restrictors are optional on windows and limit the opening of the sash to approximately 100mm

Factory Finishing
This is a highly recommended option. To ensure the smooth operation and optimum performance of the window, paints are spray applied, achieving a quality of finish unobtainable with traditional methods.

The Smooth and precise operation of the CHATSWORTH timber window is achieved by the action of its high quality, precision spring balances, allowing total control for the user.

The Chatsworth features the slimmest section in the Heritage range, and can be used effectively between brickwork or behind brick reveals, achieving a true period appearance.

Like the Chatsworth, the MARLBOROUGH timber window features the smooth operation associated with spiral balance mechanisms, but has an additional tilt facility, allowing both sashes to be lowered into the room for maintenance and safe cleaning of the glass.

As with all windows in the Heritage range, the Marlborough has been independently tested for its High Performance in accordance with BS 6375.

Either flush of extended cills are available, but due to the tilt facility it is not recommended to use horns on the opening sashes.

Marlborough windows like all other Heritage windows are available in a comprehensive range of sizes and glazing bar configurations

BLENHIEM timber sliding sash windows include lead weights, cords and brass roller pulleys and have traditional service pockets for maintenance of the cords and weights

This most traditional construction satisfies the most demanding conservation requirements. Factory glazing is recommended, and enables accurate calculation of the counter balance requirements for the sash. Factory painting is strongly recommended for all round protection and smooth operation

Cill and glazing bar options areavailable on this vertical sliding window which can also be supplied with sash hornes.
